In Ontario in the springtime, many wild flowers, such as trilliums, are abundant. There are white and red trilliums. There are also hepatica, jack in the pulpit, and dutchmen’s breeches as well as ferns in the mix. This picture is inspired by the forests in Vineland (Jordan Harbour), Shelburne, and LaSalle.
After ACL surgery, our ginger cat – Tiger Shrimp – needed some alone time. He settled in one of our gardens in a sun spot, surrounded by bushes and plants. Because, sometimes, you need to smell the roses… or catnip…
