THE TEAM BEHIND YOUR SOFTWARE
Passionate About What We Do, We Look Forward to Collaborating with You

Dr. (Ruth) Jill Urbanic is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical, Automotive, and Materials Engineering at the University of Windsor. Her research focuses on advanced process design and manufacturing technologies. She likes to design and build things. This includes sketching, painting, landscape designs as well as eclectic multi-disciplinary engineering design projects. She is the recipient of both research and teaching awards, and has made several advances in the area of additive manufacturing and hybrid process planning.

Hamoon has a M.A.Sc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Windsor and a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering. He has experience in CAD, CAE, Additive Manufacturing, and the automotive industry. Hamoon is a self-professed coffee connoisseur.

Syamak is a post-doctoral fellow working with CAMufacturing Solutions to develop a rapid thermodynamic simulation module for the directed energy deposition additive manufacturing process. The collaboration has resulted in novel practices for thermal analysis using analytical/machine-learning models to predict the instantaneous temperature at any time during the build process.

Marzia is a PhD candidate at the University of Windsor with a solid background in mechanical engineering. She has over 10 years of experience in mechanical design and manufacturing in the industry. Her passion for building and innovation extends to her hobbies, which include sewing and crafting. Marzia is also an avid reader.

Jacob is a third-year Mechanical Engineering student, studying at the University of Windsor. He has a strong interest in both additive and subtractive manufacturing. He enjoys 3D modeling, 3D printing, playing and watching soccer, and spending time up north at his family’s cabin.
